Lecture and screening “HouseEurope!”
Arno Brandlhuber and Jonas Janke are partners at the well-known b+ architecture practice, who seek to engage with the systemic challenges of our time, particularly those related to the social-ecological transformation of existing buildings, offering economically viable solutions.
b+ is a highly awarded and widely known architectural practice that has been active in shaping spatial policy in Berlin and beyond. They have produced political-social films as architects, published several books and created exhibitions focusing on the promotion of a value system of architectural practice. In this lecture and screening, they will present one of their ongoing projects, HouseEurope!, which aims to change EU legislation to support renovation processes.
Jonas Janke (DE, 1991) is an architect and partner at bplus.xyz. He has a diverse background in architecture, was trained as an architectural draughtsman before pursuing his studies in Hamburg, Stockholm, and Berlin.
