Renee Puusepp is a practitioner and academic of computational design. Having finished his formal training and started professional architectural career in Estonia, he completed a MSc in Computing and Design as well as a PhD in Architecture at University of East London. In 2011, he was awarded a doctorate degree for his thesis investigating agent based modelling techniques for generating circulation diagrams. His special interest lies in generative design and using programmable tools at the early stages of design process. While his academic work focuses on parallel computing algorithms for form-finding purposes, Renee Puusepp has also built a number of prototypes exploring parametric design concepts. As a director and co-founder of London-based interdisciplinary company SliderStudio, he has deployed these prototypes in practice.
